SIFNOS BEACHES:

Vathy sifnos

This broad, sandy bay (divided into north, central, and south sections) offers shallow, calm water ideal for easy swimming. It’s less built-up than Platis Gialos, so you’ll find more natural shade and a relaxed vibe.

Cheronissos

A hidden gem on Sifnos’s northern tip, this tiny pebbly beach and small fishing harbor feel wonderfully remote. The water is crystal-clear, and you won’t mind the short walk down—this one’s worth the trek.

Faros

A long, sandy stretch with a few rustic scattered along the shore. The gentle breeze makes it a favorite for wind-surfers, and the open expanse of water is great for long, refreshing swims.

Platis Gialos

A long, sandy beach with organized sunbeds, umbrellas, and a handful of beachfront cafés. Clear, calm waters make it perfect for families or anyone who likes a little comfort—and it’s the only beach on the island with two bus stops right on the sand.

Apokofto beach chrysopigi

Famous for the little white chapel perched on its rocky islet, this pebble beach offers calm, shallow water and a photogenic backdrop. Ideal for a quick dip and a wander around the monastery.

Vroulidia

Ta Vroulidia is a quiet, pebbly beach on the northwest coast of Sifnos, known for its emerald waters and laid-back vibe  . It offers umbrellas, sunbeds, and a small family-run taverna serving fresh meze right by the shore  . Access is via a scenic dirt road or by boat taxi, making the journey as charming as the destination  .

We hope these little tips help you fall in love with Sifnos the way we did - through its food, its light, and those unforgettable summer moments. We cant wait to share them with you
